However, because of some uncontrolled anthropological activities and irregular natural conditions, forest fires happen frequently. These fires are the most uncontrollable disasters to forest resources and the human environment condition. In this scenario, the frequency of forest fires has increased considerably due to climate change, human activities and other factors. The detection and monitoring of forest fires has become a global concern in forest fire prevention organizations.

Therefore, forest monitoring is imperative in order to avoid forest fire consequences. Nevertheless, the network of forest fire detection consumes a significant amount of power because this network performs continuous long-time monitoring of the forest.

NavigateWorx offered very cost-effective Solution for the project application with completely industrial advantage. Sensors could get the corresponding change in the CO2 (carbon dioxide) level, temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure in the early stage of forest fire, then collects data regularly. All the sensors are connected to NavigateWorx router via serial port and then send all the data through our router to monitoring center via cellular technologies. Once the data exceeds the preset tolerance limits defined in the alarm threshold, the sensor will report to NavigateWorx routers timely, and then routers will transmit the insightful data and send a notification to alert recipients to take crucial actions, thus contributing to avoiding significant loss.
