ATM is an electronic telecommunications device that enables the customers of a financial institution to perform financial transactions, particularly cash withdrawal, without the need for a human cashier, clerk or bank teller.

 

According to the ATM Industry Association (ATMIA), the membership base covers the full range of this worldwide industry comprising over 2.2 million installed ATMs.


Challenge

Banks might use IoT technologies to create more engaging and context-aware customer rewards, or to generate more intelligent and personalized customer cross sell opportunities. IoT will help banks to innovate and devise better ways to improve risk management, reduce costs and improve overall operational efficiency.

Navigateworx router is proud to be selected for this project and it provides a trustable and reliable 4G LTE connectives for all those 300 PCS ATMs. Especially we integrate the Operator’s SIM cards inside our routers as a total solution and this makes the Banking Companies stay away from the headache of roaming services. Furthermore, with our advanced firewall configuration, we provide the routers away from hack attack and let the routers share the same connection and acts as a single DHCP server. Our high EMC level design makes sure our routers work normally and always-on reliability for ATM networks. What’s more, encrypted GRE VPN Tunnel is used in this project and make sure the security of the entire ATM network. In one word, we’re proud to be selected for this application.

NavigateWorx routers support Dual SIM cards for seamless data transmission. SIM1 as main and SIM2 as backup. If SIM1 fails to connect to Internet, then NR300 will switch to SIM2 automatically.
