Smart Bus has a complete and intelligent System that consists of Payment System, Monitoring System and Media Video System. Bus Management Operation Company need to get the real-time Status and push Media out for Commercial Purpose.

Challenge

In order to link up the Central Management Office and each Bus, the customer looks for a cost-effective Industrial Cellular Router to provide rugged and reliable remote connection.

 

Key needs for Bus System:

• Robust Design: Work stable in harsh environment with strong humidity, high / low working temperature range. 

• More Function: Wi-Fi Captive Portal, GPS, IPSEC, GRE

• More Industrial Interfaces: Ethernet Ports, DIDOs.

Based on this application, we developed WiFi Captive Portal function and provided a secure WiFi webpage verification method to ensure visitors network security. And the NR500 Router supports GPS positioning function and the customer can monitor the specific location of each bus like longitude and latitude from Monitoring Center. Also Established IPSEC / GRE tunnel for security connection.
